Description - Hurricane - a storm with a violent wind. It can be up to 600 miles across and have strong winds spiraling inward and upward at speeds of 75 to 200 mph.
Hurricane is a symbol of strength and destruction. While wind is a symbol of lightness and movement.
This concept is an interpretation of the above characteristics. “Hurricane” emerges from the natural, tapered and spiraling form of a hurricane and the lines denote the wind in it’s most consuming state.
This project was shortlisted as a top 10 Finalist for the Rado Star Prize, USA 2016. It was showcased at Wanted Design, New York and was selected as the winner of the Prix Du Public award.
